I heard about the great food at this restaurant while listening to talk radio show "Out To Lunch" on WRMN 1410 AM - Elgin, Illinois. So I went there this morning to check it out. The place was exceptionally clean, several large dining areas, well lit and nicely decorated. I was seated quickly and the service was very nice and professional. The food was just excellent, I had a Denver Omelette with American Cheese, which came with toast and potatoes, and it was just delicious! Highly recommended. Five Stars..

I had a cheese burger which was beyond delicious . My husband shared with it with me. It was more enough. Then he had a piece of coconut cake and he loved it.

My husband and I went here for dinner on Saturday. Once again, it was amazing. My husband had the full slab of ribs and I had the Saturday prime rib special. Both were absolutely fantastic and there was so much food that we had dinner again tonight. The dinners came with a salad and cup of soup. We had the French onion, which was very tasty. Everyone there is so nice. A lady named Betty went table to table, talking to everyone to see if they needed anything very sweet. This place is totally a gem of a restaurant you can't go wrong here!

I've seen the good reviews and finally got there today. Pretty standard breakfast fare all clearly cooked with care. Busy wait staff. Definitely coming back.

The food is always good and nice sized portions. They are a bit more expensive, but it's a locally owned business so if supporting local is important, great spot.

I freaking love Paul's. The place reminds me of restaurants that my mom used to take me to when I was growing up, especially with the big cake display in the front. The food is simple and to the point. And STEAK FRIES. We love the soups and the breakfast. A great burger. Fried Chicken! And service is on point. While we love our Robin, all the servers there have been great and friendly. The other thing I love about Paul's is their love for the community. This is often shown in clothes drives or their shared bookshelves. Just a great place with great people. And if you're GenX, it will give you the 80s-90s feels all over again.

We are always in the neighborhood here and we never stopped in to give this restaurant a try. Today was a day and we will be happy that we came in. When you first walk in you notice all the delicious looking desserts we can tell that they are freshly made. My daughter had a taste for pancakes so she ordered the silver dollar pancakes off the kids menu and loved them. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. It came with a side salad and a cup of soup. I ordered the half of a fried chicken it's a 25 minutes but we had Uno cards with us so we were playing that while we were waiting. The time went by really fast. My fried chicken dinner came with a potato choice so I chose a baked potato with sour cream and I got to choose a vegetable so I chose the green beans (the other option was carrots) Shortly after we placed our order we received our drinks and a bread basket with crackers and butter. My daughter was so happy to see that! The food was very filling and our waitress Jodi was so so sweet. She kept our drinks full and kept asking us if we needed anything. I love how the restaurant is decorated, I felt like we were having dinner with family. I love bird houses and by our booth was a lovely display of bird houses. I cannot believe we have passed by this restaurant so many times and never stopped in. We will be back for sure! I highly recommend dining here, be sure to bring your appetite! There is a free little library to keep or read and return. Love this so much
